• Learn to make your bed
• Get yourself ready in the morning- dressed, washed, breakfast
• Help prepare lunch, dinner, or snacks
• Phone grandma, grandpa, whānau and friends
• Read daily
• Play dice and card games, or board games
• Change oil or replacing spark plugs in the car or lawn mower
• Hunt for insects
• Tell old family stories
• Help with cooking or baking
• Read together
• Read to each other
• Draw pictures
• Tell stories about your pictures
• Tell the time
• Help in the garden
• Make play dough
• Recycle paper
• Find out about kitchen science
• Pretend you’re a superhero
• Build a blanket fort
• Write a play for teddy bears
• Tell the story of a video game
• Talk in a weird voice
• Do everything in slow motion
• Make an obstacle course
• Art, crafts
• Help in the shed
